Since 2015, the Heart of Ukraine Charitable Foundation has been providing charitable (humanitarian) aid to civilians affected by Russian aggression in various forms.In 2022, a volunteer network was created to collect and provide humanitarian aid in kind – food kits and means of subsistence, sanitary and hygienic kits, medical devices. During 2022, the volunteer network of BF “Heart of Ukraine” consisting of 10 activists participated in 4 humanitarian aid projects within the framework of the NGO “Association of Sappers of Ukraine” and NGO Airlight as co-implementers.

Experience was gained in providing all types of humanitarian aid – cash, vouchers, aid in kind. Gained experience in the formation of registers of war victims as a result of a large-scale invasion by the Russian Federation, by categories: civilian wounded, IDPs (displaced persons).

The volunteers of our BF established direct contacts with the victims, as well as government structures in several regions of Ukraine: Kyiv region, Kharkiv region, Chernihiv region.

Formed registers and packages of personal data, certificates of injuries and rehabilitation needs for *** persons. In the future, our BF works on updating these registers, providing consulting services on issues of social protection of civilians affected by the war, as well as individual psychological assistance.
